Setup guide

Set it up in about a minute.

Pedagrade checks your course while you design it. Install it once, open your design document or storyboard, and keep the panel open beside it.

Google Docs

  1. Install Pedagrade

In any Google Doc, open the add-ons store, search for Pedagrade, and click Install. Allow the permissions it asks for.

    Extensions›Add-ons›Get add-ons›Pedagrade
  2. Reload your document

Docs adds new add-ons to a document when it opens, so reload the tab once after installing.

  3. Open the Pedagrade panel

Sign in, then pick your course, or start from the sample storyboard to see what it catches.

    Extensions›Pedagrade›Check course
  4. Write

Keep the panel open. When you pause after a section, Pedagrade checks it against your objectives. A wrong answer key or two right answers shows up as Must fix, with the fix one click away.

Microsoft Word

Word on the web, Mac, and Windows. Pedagrade underlines what it finds right in your design document or storyboard: a double line for Must fix and a dotted line for Worth a look.

  1. Get the add-in

Pedagrade for Word is in early access while Microsoft reviews the store listing. Add it yourself in about a minute on the web, Mac, or Windows.

  2. Open Pedagrade from the Home tab

Open your design document or storyboard, then click Pedagrade on the Home tab, sign in, and pick your course.

    Home›Pedagrade
  3. Write

After the first time, Pedagrade opens with that document on its own. Click any underline to see why, and fix it from the card.
