Use Pedagrade where you work

Check your course without leaving ChatGPT or Claude.

Add Pedagrade once. Then keep drafting the way you already do, and ask your assistant to check each lesson against your objectives as you go. Same account, same checks, same history as the website.

Setup takes about two minutes. You need a Pedagrade account; making one is free.

Add Pedagrade to ChatGPT

On the web at chatgpt.com. ChatGPT calls these Plugins.

  1. Open Plugins. Go to Settings → Plugins, or open chatgpt.com/plugins.
  2. Add a custom server. Click Add → Create custom MCP server.
  3. Fill in three fields.

    Server URLhttps://app.pedagrade.com/mcp
    AuthenticationOAuth (already selected)
    The description and icon are optional.
  4. Create it. Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.
  5. Connect your account. Click Continue to Pedagrade, sign in, and click Allow. You're sent back to ChatGPT with Pedagrade listed under Installed.

Don't see Add? Custom servers depend on your ChatGPT plan and, on work accounts, on what your admin allows.

Add Pedagrade to Claude

On claude.ai or the Claude desktop app. Claude calls these connectors.

  1. Open Connectors. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. Add a custom connector. Click Add custom connector, name it Pedagrade, and paste the server URL: https://app.pedagrade.com/mcp.
  3. Connect your account. Click Connect, sign in to Pedagrade, and click Allow.
  4. Turn it on in a chat. In the chat's tools menu, make sure Pedagrade is switched on.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first.

Codex and Claude Code

One command each. A browser window opens for you to sign in and click Allow.

In Claude Code, run /mcp afterward to sign in.

What to ask

Talk the way you normally would. Your assistant reaches for Pedagrade when the request fits. If it ever answers on its own instead, add "use Pedagrade."

Set up a course

"Start a course called Coaching Basics. Here are the objectives: …"

Saves the objectives once, so every lesson can be checked against them.

Check a lesson as you write it

"Does this lesson line up with my objectives for Coaching Basics?"

Shows what it teaches, practices, and assesses, what to fix, and what to consider. Saved to the course.

Draft, then check

"Write a practice activity for objective 2, then have Pedagrade check it."

Your assistant drafts. Pedagrade checks. The checker stays separate from the tool that wrote the content.

See what's missing

"What should I build next for Coaching Basics?"

Objectives taught but never practiced, practiced but never taught, not covered yet, and assessment gaps.

Review before launch

"Run a full Pedagrade review on this course."

The same full review as the website, saved to your History. Uses one review from your plan.

Pick up where you left off

"Which Pedagrade courses do I have?"

Lists your courses with how many lessons you've checked and how many objectives are practiced.

Plans, privacy, and control

One account, every door

ChatGPT, Claude, and the website all sign in to the same Pedagrade account. Your courses, checks, and reviews show up in all of them.

What it costs

Calibrate is free while it's in beta. A full review uses one review from your plan: your first is free, then a review pack or Pro. Buy on pedagrade.com; it applies everywhere.

What it can and can't do

It can check lessons, create courses, show what's missing, and run a review. It can't change your plan or billing, delete anything, or see anyone else's courses.

Where your text goes

Text your assistant sends to Pedagrade is checked on Pedagrade's own private AI and saved to your account. The conversation itself lives in your ChatGPT or Claude account, under their terms. See Privacy.

Turn it off anytime

Disconnect or remove Pedagrade from your assistant's settings whenever you like. Your courses stay in your Pedagrade account.
